O(wl) Christmas Tree

Hello crafters, Kirsten here, did you enjoy Lisa’s recap of the Christmas party classes yesterday? It was a fun day. A quick post from me today to show the tree I made to feature the new Hobby Art owl stamp set. I coloured the owls with watercolour pencils & then decorated the surrounding ‘baubles’ in various ways.

The letters are the Craftwork Cards chipboard letters. I gave them a quick coat of white acrylic paint, followed by a few coats of red, then Glossy Accents. (Painting chipboard/cardboard/wood with white acrylic paint or gesso first seals it &ensures you don’t have to use lots of paint to get the coverage you want).

I covered the ’o’ with red & white adhesive pearls & added gold distress stickles.
