Craft Emotion Dies

Hello again crafters, Happy Easter to you all.
Today's card is all about dies, Craft Emotions to be precise.  This cute little die is very effective and Springlike I think.

So as usual I started with a 7" x 7" white card blank and matted it with a very pale pink card then with white card cut to slightly smaller than the pink. Then a piece of pale green basil card stock that was cut an inch smaller than the previous layer, and then a piece of white card cut slightly smaller than the green.

I then used a patterned oval die and lined it up so that was slightly near the top and centered. Once cut I put all the matted layers in to place and set about adding the embellishments.

Next I wanted to use the Sue Wilson Lattice Bow, which is currently on offer on the website, to take away the starkness on the bottom of the card.  Once cut it fitted just perfected across both matts.

Next came the little Craft Emotions Bunch Of Blossoms Die to decorate the centre of the oval, so cut out the branch in light brown card, the flowers and buds were cut using the same pink as the matt and the leaves cut in the same green as the other matt.

I place the branch inside the oval..........

Cut all the flowers and buds out twice to give myself plenty of flowers, then shaped them................

Then chose the little buds and placed them at the end of some sprigs using Cosmic Shimmer Dries Clear Glue

Next came the flowers and finished off by cutting the lattice bow shape and putting in place.  I finished off the card by using a little MDF bird from the Autumn Wood MDF shapes and painted him with a tiny bit of Clotted Cream Starlights and placed him on the lattice border.

Then finished off each little flower with a clear crystal gem.

And there you go, another card done........

I love the colours, they go very well together.

Thank you for dropping by the blog today and see you again very soon.

Love, Jan -x-
